Dr. Drew’s Monday Motivation – Persistance

Monday Momentum

Monday Focus – The notion of persistence is something that helps to separate those that desire to be successful and those that are. I am particularly reminded of athletes that overcome severe injury or even cancer; they do not succumb to the issue, they fight through it! How many organizations or business professionals do you know only to go bankrupt and proceed to make amends only to become stronger. An exemplar here can be IBM. There are too many today that see hurdles and refuse to jump them. They blame others, claim victimhood and lack desire to make a better future. Rather than sit and complain you cannot get something done, dig in like many of our ancestors, take action and create the destiny you desire.

Monday Motivational Quote“A little more persistence, a little more effort, and what seemed hopeless failure may turn to glorious success.” – Elbert Hubbard

“Ambition is the path to success. Persistence is the vehicle you arrive in.” – Bill Bradley
